This is Coach Haydin’s first year coaching at Beach Wave Volleyball Club, and she is excited to officially join the staff after spending the last four years volunteering with youth programs such as Sand Fleas and the Grass League. During this time, she also assisted with Mini Club 12U and 14U teams, gaining early coaching experience and developing a strong understanding of how to teach fundamental skills to young athletes. Her dedication, patience, and enthusiasm for the sport have already made her a familiar and trusted presence in the Beach Wave community.

 

Haydin began her volleyball journey in 6th grade and has spent the past eight years training, competing, and growing in the sport. She played all four years at Eau Gallie High School, where her leadership and work ethic quickly stood out. Haydin was named team captain during both her junior and senior seasons and earned the Best Defensive Player award her senior year. In club volleyball, she competed for three seasons with Beach Wave Volleyball Club and one season with Countdown Volleyball Club, giving her a versatile background across different programs and coaching styles.

 

Throughout her playing career, Haydin specialized as both a setter and libero, positions that require court awareness, communication, and a deep understanding of game strategy. These skills naturally translate into her coaching style, where she focuses on strong fundamentals, confident decision-making, and helping players understand the “why” behind the game.

 

Haydin’s passion for coaching comes from her belief that having a supportive and knowledgeable coach early on can shape an athlete’s entire experience with volleyball. She hopes to inspire her players the same way her coaches inspired her—by building confidence, encouraging growth, and helping athletes develop a genuine love for the game.

 

Haydin is currently enrolled at Eastern Florida State College, where she plans to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level while furthering her education. She looks forward to bringing her experience, energy, and positive leadership to the Beach Wave program.
