LYNNETTE SHANNONHOUSE

This is Coach Lynnette's fifth season at Beach Wave. Volleyball has been Coach Lynnette’s sport since middle school. Early in her middle school years she went to a volleyball camp hosted by a local high school, since then she was hooked. Playing volleyball from 7th grade through her senior year of high school and beyond. Coach Lynnette went to Eau Gallie High School and played all four years for the program. Her senior year she selected for the All County Team. 
 
After graduating from Eau Gallie in 2010 she went on to earn a full ride scholarship for volleyball to Pasco-Hernando Community College. As a Freshman playing at Pasco-Hernando her and her team went on to win the 2010 NJCAA Division-2 National Championship. The following year, at Pasco-Hernando they won the Regional Championship and placed at the National Championship tournament. 
 
In 2012 Coach Lynnette graduated with honors and finished her college education at UCF. This is when her coaching career began. During summers home from college she would help out at Eau Gallie High School at various volleyball camps, clinics and summer conditioning for the high school players. In her senior year at UCF she took over the Freshman volleyball position at Eau Gallie. She went on to coach for Eau Gallie as the Freshman and JV coach for the next nine years, finally resigning at the end of  2022. 
 
Coach Lynnette started coaching at Beach Wave in 2018 as well as coaching under Coach Michelle at Eau Gallie High School for 3 years. Last year she took a break from coaching club when she welcomed her first baby, a little girl, Stella. Coach Lynnette has coached various ages and teams. In addition, Coach Lynnette helps runs the Grass Program for Beach Wave for the past two years over the summer. During the summers she works with Coach Michelle to run various camps.
